Dean of Students: CSU to Implement COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Upon FDA Approval

Today it was announced that the California State University (CSU) joined the University of California (UC)€‹ in supporting required immunizations for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, as part of an expected return of students, faculty, and staff for in-person instruction across the state in the fall. Upon full approval of one or more COVID-19 vaccines by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), UC and CSU systems intend to require faculty, staff and students who are accessing campus facilities at any university location to be immunized against SARS-CoV-2.
