Campus is open for regular business and classes will be held today.

If students are concerned about their health, or the health of others, the Office of the Dean of Students is the point of contact regarding classroom accommodations and technology needs. Students are to notify faculty of an absence.

March 9, 2020

5:30 pm

The Division of Information Technology has doubled the capacity for Titanium and installed all general classrooms with webcams for Zoom conferencing.

3:00 pm

CSUF is reviewing all domestic and international travel, working with the Chancellor’s office for input on criteria for canceling travel.

Events on campus are under consideration to help ensure the safety of faculty, staff and students, based on recommendations from the CDC for higher risk and special populations and the California Department of Public Health.

11:30 am

CSUF is following the guidance issued by the California Department of Public Health. According to the document, CSUF is in Scenario 1span (normal campus operations and measures are in place to prevent the spread of COVID19).

10:00 am

Campus remains open to classes. There are no confirmed cases in our campus community. There is an infectious disease working group developing a 12-point plan evaluating all campus procedures with a focus on scheduled events. The custodial team is focusing on surface disinfection.
