University Advancement Email to Campus Employees: Community Campaign Launch – POSTPONED

Dear Titan Community,

Over the past weekend, the California Department of Public Health provided interim guidance on the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) as it relates to events and mass gatherings.  The core of their description focused on whether or not an event is deemed essential, and in the case of an institution of higher education, deemed essential to the student experience.

After much consideration, we have decided to postpone the It Takes A Titan: The Campaign for Cal State Fullerton community launch event that was scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. in the Titan Student Union. 

Despite the postponement of this event, we will continue to celebrate the important work that has been done thus far toward the success of our first comprehensive Campaign.  Through the incredible generosity of our donors and the hard work of many on campus, the Campaign has made remarkable progress as we build toward our elevated goal of $200 Million.  In addition, we are excited to add new goals that emphasize the importance of gifts of all sizes. All support, no matter the amount, makes a remarkable difference for our students and campus community.

A first for the University, we will have a virtual opportunity for all Titans to show their support. The Titan Day of Giving will be an online event, held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 beginning at midnight. This virtual event, will serve as our announcement to the community that It Takes a Titan – The Campaign for Cal State Fullerton is well underway!
