Surveillance and Symptomatic/Exposure Testing InformationUpdated: Monday September 20, 2021 9:09 am
Weekly COVID-19 surveillance testing is required for all students and faculty with exemptions.
Individuals who are experiencing symptoms or who have been exposed to COVID-19 will have access to testing, regardless of their last scheduled surveillance test.
Please note that you cannot eat, drink, smoke/vape, or brush your teeth/use mouthwash in the 60 minutes prior to your test.
Testing for Symptomatic Individuals at Student Wellness
Any individual experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 are advised to stay home. Individuals should seek testing, which is available on campus by appointment or walk-in, Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Student Wellness (not the Mass Testing Site).
Testing for Exposed Individuals at Student Wellness
Non-vaccinated individuals who have been in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 are advised to stay home and self-quarantine for 10 days from the date of last exposure. During self-quarantine, individuals are advised to monitor for symptoms. Self-quarantining individuals should seek testing should they develop symptoms. Exposed individuals who do not have symptoms can seek testing on day 5 after the last exposure. Testing for individuals who have been exposed to COVID-19 is available on campus by appointment or walk-in, Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Student Wellness (not the Mass Testing Site).
Weekly Surveillance Testing: Testing for Individuals Who Are Asymptomatic and Have Not Been Exposed at Titans Return Testing Site
Testing is available for all employees and students on campus. If an individual is not experiencing symptoms and has not been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, testing is available at the Titans Return Testing Site (not Student Wellness). Testing at the Titans Return Testing Site requires a QR code, which can be obtained by scheduling an appointment through the Titan Health Portal, found on www.fullerton.edu/studentwellness. The Titans Return Testing Site is located just behind Titan Shops and and is open Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
