Face Coverings Required Indoors Through September 30

Tuesday August 10, 2021 10:15 am

Colleagues,

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) updated its Guidance for the Use of Face Coverings, to include a recommendation that face coverings be worn indoors regardless of vaccination status. Based on this guidance, Presidential Directive 22 has been amended to reflect the requirement that all members of the University community regardless of vaccination status must wear a face covering indoors. These revisions are effective on August 11 and will continue at least through September 30.

Visit the Presidential Directive 22 webpage to review the amended directive and the new face covering requirement.

As always, your health and well-being remain our top priority. We will continue to monitor updated guidance and work closely with our peers, including University of California, Irvine as we make future adjustments.

Visit the Titans Return: COVID-19 Recovery website for updated information on re-entry, including vaccine requirements and testing.

Best,
