Pollak Library Closure
Wednesday December 02, 2020 8:33 amA message from Dr. Vincent E. Vigil, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students
Dear Titans,
Thank you for your interest in using the Pollak Library for your studies. As you might have heard, COVID-19 cases are rising across the country. Recently, Orange County moved back to Tier 1, which is commonly known as the “widespread” or “purple” tier. Our campus has done a remarkable job following proper guidelines to mitigate risks associated with coronavirus and we must continue to act responsibly.
Due to the recent shift in our County’s tier level and state guidance, CSUF must close in-person library services for the remainder of the semester. Effective Wednesday, December 2, students will no longer be able to reserve time in the Pollak Library for the Fall semester.
COVID-19 is still as concerning as ever, and it is critical that we continue to do our part to ensure the semester moves forward safely.
Below are a few important reminders.
- Health Services is offering free COVID-19 testing. It is open to all symptomatic and/or exposed CSUF students, by telehealth appointment and determined by the provider. There is no walk-in testing. To access care and support, please call Health Services at (657) 278-2800.
- Information Technology provides Device Requests to students. Students can request the following devices: laptops, mi-fi’s, webcams, headsets by completing this form.
- Eduroam Wifi is available at the Nutwood Parking Structure as well as the East-side Parking Structure.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
