Face Covering Policy Reminder – In place until Feb. 28

Friday February 11, 2022 9:57 am

Titans,

The California Department of Public Health recently announced that California will lift its statewide indoor mask mandate for fully vaccinated individuals due to decreases in COVID-19 cases throughout the state. This updated guidance will go into effect beginning February 16, 2022. It will require masking for unvaccinated individuals in all public indoor settings and universal masking in specified settings listed in the guidance. Per President’s Directive No. 22, Cal State Fullerton’s face covering policy will remain in effect through February 28, 2022. All members of the University community must continue to wear face coverings indoors while on campus property through the abovementioned date.

We appreciate everyone’s efforts in complying with campus protocols and helping to keep those in the Titan Community safe and healthy. The university will continue to monitor COVID-19 data, prevailing conditions, and public health recommendations throughout the semester. Should there be updates to face covering requirements, the university will announce the changes to the campus community.

Please continue to visit the Titan’s Return website for updates and information about Cal State Fullerton’s COVID-19 measures. Thank you again for your patience and flexibility as we all navigate this global pandemic together.
