Face Coverings

On Thursday, May 13, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released updated guidance stating that vaccinated individuals no longer need to wear masks/face covers or physically distance unless required by federal, state, or local regulations and workplace guidance.  Currently, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Orange County Health Care Agency (OCHCA) as well as Cal OSHA all continue to require wearing a face cover and physically distancing, regardless of vaccination status.  The campus will evaluate and respond to changes to both state and local guidance, as well as Cal OSHA regulations.  Until then, please continue to abide by CSUF President’s Directive 21, which requires face coverings and continued physical distancing on campus.
