Online Only StudentsUpdated: Monday September 20, 2021 9:06 am
Students with an exclusively online/virtual class schedule for the fall 2021 semester must participate in the vaccine requirement program (i.e., upload vaccine record or apply for a medical/religious exemption) by Thursday, September 30 per the CSU Office of the Chancellor. To learn about the vaccine requirement options, please click here.
Please note: Students who are participating in a fully online degree program and will not be accessing ANY campus facilities are not required to receive a vaccination at this time. Those students will be notified via the student portal and they must attest that they will not come to campus for any reason.
For weekly testing inquiries, please see the scenarios below.
STUDENTS WITH AN EXCLUSIVELY ONLINE/VIRTUAL SCHEDULE WITHOUT IN-PERSON EXAMS/MEETINGS
If students have a pending or approved medical/religious exemption and have all online/virtual schedule for the fall 2021 semester without any in-person exams/meetings, then they DO NOT need to participate in weekly testing.
STUDENTS WITH AN EXCLUSIVELY ONLINE SCHEDULE WITH IN-PERSON EXAMS/MEETINGS
If students have a pending or approved medical/religious exemption and have a completely online schedule for the fall 2021 semester with some in-person exams/meetings, then they DO NOT need to participate in weekly testing. Students must participate in a re-entry test 2-3 days before their in-person exams/meetings. The re-entry test needs to be completed at the Cal State Fullerton Testing Site. STUDENTS WITH AN EXCLUSIVELY ONLINE SCHEDULE WHO HAVE A PENDING OR APPROVED VACCINATION RECORD
Students with an exclusively online/virtual schedule with or without in-person exams/meetings who have a pending or approved vaccination record DO NOT need to participate in weekly testing. We appreciate your participation.
Thank you for your flexibility as Cal State Fullerton navigates the global pandemic. We hope this information is helpful.
