Titan Athletics Email: Home Events Without Spectators

Wednesday March 11, 2020 4:52 pm

All home baseball, softball and if possible tennis events will be streamed live.

Cal State Fullerton Athletics continues to work closely with campus leadership to monitor and respond to the evolving coronavirus situation. Based on the discussions with the campus administration, the recommendation from the NCAA and out of an abundance of caution, attendance at all Cal State Fullerton Athletics home events will be limited to essential personnel only until further notice. Essential personnel are defined as student-athletes, coaches, team trainers and medical personnel, game officials, operational and administrative staff, and credentialed media members. Spectators who have pre-purchased tickets for scheduled events during this time period may contact the Athletics Ticket Office via phone or email athletictixs@fullerton.edu. All home baseball and softball games will be available to watch on BigWest.TV. Also follow @FullertonTitans and our team accounts on Twitter for live updates from events.

Cal State Fullerton Athletics will continue to follow California State University travel guidelines regarding team and personnel travel. At this point in time, teams will continue to practice and compete.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation as well as recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Orange County Department of Public Health, and we will work together with campus officials to make any additional changes deemed in the best interest of our student-athletes, coaches, staff and fans.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends the following steps to help keep our community safe:

Titan Athletics continues to incorporate enhanced cleaning measures and public hygiene practices, including numerous hand sanitizing stations, at its athletic facilities.

The COVID-19 situation and its impact on athletic department operations is fluid. Up-to-date information on COVID-19 from the university can be found here.
